A Muddy Hike Up Tilden
Rain, cold weather, and overcast skies ruled this area for the past two weeks. Hiking and photography was an impossibility. However, this Saturday I enjoyed the weather by venturing onto Tilden’s Pine Trail. I was worried that the winter, even though there was gargantuan amounts of sunshine, wouldn’t present pleasant photographic scenery but I was wrong. I think I snapped my best landscape picture yet (coming soon).
My friend joined this hike, and at one point my legs were burning and he was kind enough to snap a picture of the Golden Gate Bridge far in the distance. He was amazed at the sight of colorful sails dotting the deep-blue seascape, and the camera lens’ ability to view traffic on the bridge. Another sight that surprised both of us was the appearance of a group of stairs. The area was very shaded and chilly. Frost grew on the plants and the steps–that was how low the temperature reached. I created great photographs, but I only chose to feature one on my main site. This concludes my blog post describing my latest hiking photography adventure.
